I’m back at Space again this Sunday and really looking forward to it and also to hearing Carl Craig, not long to go before the mighty Grace Jones takes to the stage at in the discoteque.

This is at an amazing location in Ibiza and promises to be a proper old school Ibiza vibe.I’ll be spinning from 8:30 till 10:30. Check here for details on the day.
I’m back on the white Isle again this Sunday for more terrace action, last gig was fantastic the excellent Audiofly played after me and really rocked the house, I stayed for a boogie and saw some old Ibiza faces so I really enjoyed myself.
So the Ibiza season starts on Sunday with the traditional Space opening party. I am not playing the opening this year, my first gig will be for We Love on June 21st, they have some great line ups planned I’m excited to get the season under way. After last year being the year of change for Ibiza I’m hoping this year things will settle down and the Island can go back to doing what it does best, partying!
GRACE JONES, one of the world’s most legendary musicians and performers. A woman who inserts amazing into everything she does, will perform LIVE at We Love… at Space in Ibiza - on August 9th - for the first time ever - as part of Wall Of Sound’s 15 Year anniversary celebrations.I am looking forward to this gig as she is my heroine, I love her she is an inspiration to me on so many levels.
Well I’m just back from Ibiza where the sun is still shining but the club situation is not so rosey. For me Space closing was not as good as it has been in past years, I am sure the general vibe of the season carried over to the closing where the numbers were definitely down and the atmosphere was not as jolly as usual.
I did enjoy my set in the discotheque but was disappointed to be playing in the small booth rather than the main booth as the room was just not full enough at the time to open the whole room. Steve Lawler did a slammin’ set in the car park but things quickly changed when David Guetta went on and played loads of really big cheesy tunes, back in the discotheque Nic Fanculli kicked it hard and rocked the room, I didn’t stay too long after that as I was saving myself for DC10.

El Hotel!
The next day around 6pm just as I was stepping out of the door to go to DC10 I got a call saying it was closed by the police 10 minutes before it was supposed to start, this I felt was the last straw after a summer filled with disapointments this was the icing on the cake, I felt sorry for those who flew in just to go to Circoloco, but in true Ibiza style later that night the Circoloco crew and load of die hard DC10 heads took over Al Ayoun restaurant who were having their usual closing party, Luciano hit the decks for 5 hours and the party continued till dawn.
The next night Circoloco put on the party in Privilege I heard it was good fun. So as for next year who knows what will happen, I don’t think Circoclo will be in Ibiza, and that is a big shame.
So finally after a turbulent season in Ibiza it’s all coming to an end once again. This Sunday sees the closing of Space, Ibiza’s biggest party. It’s been a strange summer what with the closure of DC10, new opening times and a whole new weird anti clubber vibe on the island. I must say I really felt the difference this year, but then again it has been an amazing summer for clubs like Cocoon, Monza and La Troya all still going strong. Who knows what next year will bring so I’m going to let the summer go out with a bang on Sunday and head straight to DC10 on Monday for much dancing!!
